Introducing…

Bandlab is a new fortnightly, facilitator-led band session designed to give you the chance to play music with other people in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

What is BANDLAB?
✔ A guided band experience
✔ A musical social space
✔ A chance to learn how to play with others
✔ Low pressure, high value

The focus is community, consistency, and musical interaction — not exams, or outcomes.
Think band rehearsal meets guided jam.

Who It’s For:
• Youth & Adults who may not get to play in bands
• Drummers, guitarists, bassists and vocalists of beginner to intermediate skill levels
• People who want to improve ensemble skills without gig pressure

Program Structure:
• 4–5 members per band
• Fixed bands per term 
• 60 > 120 minute fortnightly sessions (depending on age)
• Facilitated by 1–2 highly experienced musicians

Location and Times:
• BANDLAB will be held in the main studio at Matt Gibson Drums Tingalpa (Upstairs)
• Sessions will be happening between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM on Sunday’s

Price:
• Starts at $55 incl. GST for an hour session (Price scales depending on age, skill level and session length)

NOTE - This initiative is still in development.
The program will launch once we have enough members to establish full bands with musicians of similar age, skill level and genre.
